| Not due to change in job. Why do people change their number relatively frequently? |
| My friend had a crazy ex who kept signing up for things using their phone number. |
|
People who change their numbers are weird. Clearly people that have a lot of drama and whom should be avoided.
I've had the same cell number for over 20 years, back to my first little Nokia. |
| Assume they might have a stalker, or a weird ex, or they aren't good with privacy and keep giving their phone number to every Web site out there. |
| Drug dealer |
| Maybe they’re just smart enough to port their number. |
| My two relatives who do this do it because they both have a lot of debt. |
| Is it Peter Davidson? |
Nice for you. But don't assume that everyone who does this is "weird" and has "a lot of drama." Sometimes drama gets pushed on you when you don't want it, PP. Clearly you've never had a vindictive or stalkerish ex, or a mentally ill relative with zero boundaries, or had your identity stolen. Or both. So don't jump in and judge; you don't always know why someone changes numbers, and the reason might be one they never asked for or wanted at all. |
I've had both. Again, if this has repeatedly happened to you and you've needed to change your phone number more than once.. YOU are the common denominator, and you are the drama llama. |
Same here, and now that I have to worry about not only losing my low-digit number, but also my 202 area code you'd have to pry my number out of my cold dead hands. |
Agree and same but 23 years and Motorola |
What is a low digit number |
Ditto for my 703. I don't want no stinkin' 571. |
It's the ones who claim others are dramatic who are usually the most toxically dramatic themselves. |
