TJ Parents looking for guidance for distraught DD. She is a rising junior at TJ - had entered her course/elective selections as AI 1, AI2, Calculus BC, since she wanted to take ML in Grade 12. Her last choice as elective was Computer Vision.
As per the teachers assigned to her in Schoology, she sees that she has been assigned the Computer Vision teacher, and none of the AI teachers, and is in tears. Our question - are there any limits on the number of students in the electives? She was one of the first to fill in the elective forms. On what basis are electives assigned. TJ page says Computer Vision should ideally be taken after AI, so not sure on what basis she has been assigned Computer vision - any guidance would be sincerely appreciated. Thanks. |
Schedules are still being developed.
It does not matter that she was “one of the first to fill out the elective forms” Possibly the teachers have changed. If she takes Computer Vision first, it will be fine. Let her handle it. |
How did she get her courses already? Where in Schoology? |
in the bug scheme - all this hardly matters. ur kid is in TJ - they will get into a good university and have plenty of other opportunities to lean ml, ai etc etc |
* big scheme.. lol! |
