Is washing hands with Dial soap better than Mrs Meyers soap to kill germs?

I love smell of mrs meyers but does it not kill germs in same way as dial soap?

I'm not clear on why you would think there is a significant difference?

If you wash your body armpits buttocks/crack with antibacterial dial it lessens odors OP.

You don’t need to use antibiotic soap for everyday use. It’s actually not good for your skin. Just use the Mrs Myers and wash long enough for any dirt to mechanically be removed from your hands and you’ll be fine.

It’s not antibacterial, but it does kill germs. Hot water and soap for 20 seconds is all you need.

Nearly every doctors office I’ve visited uses Dial and anytime I’ve had surgery my doctor has recommended showering with dial before and after. It’s the gold standard.

I used dial in my own home when I had germy little ones and during flu season. I also use paper towels instead of hand towels.

For everyday use, any soap is fine.

This. Your skin needs certain microbes to remain to fend off even more harmful ones. Use of antibacterial soap daily is not good.

I’ve never seen branded soap in a doctor’s office nor had a doctor recommend washing with it after surgeries.
