| What do you make of the mom who has the nice house, cars and sends her kids to school wearing Chanel shirts? |
| Don’t care. |
+1 |
| Eh the shirts are like $15 . Not really too far fetched of a price point. And if they're comfortable... |
I doubt I would notice but if I did, don’t care. |
And to add: my kids wear handme downs and cat and jack. So I’m not someone who spends even $15 on a kids shirt. But it’s the other family’s budget and if they want to spend more it’s really none of my business. |
| Why would I think only of the *Mom,* and not the *Dad,* OP? Ooops, your rampant sexism is showing. |
|
I do not care at all. However is this an actual Chanel shirt seen on a kid at a private school - or a kid at a normal public school?
Have you been to lower Manhattan or Brooklyn? I’m sure there are similar places in D.C. that I am not familiar with, but you can buy all manner of fake things on the street with Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, etc. logos. I am sure sure kids think they are cool because they are imitating musicians/rappers/YouTube/TikTok stars. Why people think it’s classy to flaunt fake logos I will never understand, but it’s a thing and it has been a thing since I was a kid in the 90s. |
haha same |
| Like with a big logo, or a small tag that you know because you're obsessed with Chanel? |
|
I wouldn’t care one bit as long as they had brought in the school supplies we requested.
