Certain parcels, both vacant lots & other improved with structures, taken by county for property tax arrears. Being sold at public auction by quit claim deed because clear title cannot be provided. The parcels are generally low value and searches show possible documentation messes with family members that go back several decades. Any thoughts about the quiet title process and how difficult/expensive it could be? Does each possible party have to literally sign off, even though county had ownership? Will seek legal council but asking here first. Not in DC area.
