Can anyone help find a similar rug?

I am trying to find a rug similar to the one in Vern Yip’s living room (see article). I have a navy couch and am looking for a red rug with blue touches.

I’m sure Vern’s rug is custom but if I could find something with similar colors, that would be great. Thank you!

I doubt that is custom - much more likely, vintage Persian or Moroccan. Check Safavieh, Karastan, or a rug dealer.

Thank you - I really like the Oka one but you raise a good point about the colors. Room has dark wood floors, white wood shutters and white built ins. I had been considering this rug.

Everyone I show it to loves it but I kind of got on the red kick after seeing the article.

The couch is a Lovesac in sapphire. Still looking for chairs.

This article notes that "The deep red antique rug was found in Marrakech."

This one on Etsy is similar:

Good luck with your search!

red vs blue/white rug

I have this rug which is not like the one you posted, but is a muted rusty red rather than the vibrant red. The darker areas of this rug are navy. This red tone may compete less with the blue.

I like the blue and white rug you posted but could never keep that clean in my home with kids

Thank you - these pictures are very helpful. I think it may be best for me to stick with the blue/white/grey and not try to bring red into the mix.
