| Has anyone had this done? How did it turn out? |
| I used to work out with a woman who had tattoed eyeliner and lip liner. Would not recommend. |
| I had it done 10 yrs ago. Was one of the most painful experiences of my life! That being said, it still looks good. |
Did you do both upper and lower lids? |
|
My sister did it about 15 years ago and loves it. She did a very subtle, soft grey line on her top lid only, and it doesn’t look harsh or weird. As I recall (I drove her to get it done), it didn’t take long, and her recovery was very easy. Just a little swelling for a few days, I think.
It’s not something I would do, and I can imagine how it could go all kinds of wrong, but my sister’s just looks like she’s wearing a little light eyeliner. |
| The couple of people I know who did it, I was not impressed by. Looked overly harsh. Not natural at all. |
Was it painful? |
| Not a good look. Don't do it. |
| I think Kate Middleton has this, and if she does it’s kind of limiting. You’d love to see her without it. |
| Mine is just the upper lashline, not an eyeliner look. It hurt a lot, but lasts years. I don’t use or need eyeliner, because I personally don’t like the look, but this defines my eyes really well. |
| There was a woman I use to see at the bus stop and she always looked put together at 8am. Years later I found out she had permanent eye shadow and eyeliner. It was very subtle but looked nice |
Honestly, it was so long ago that I don’t really remember. I’m sure it must have been at least somewhat painful, but no so much so that it made an impression on me as her designated driver. |
| It’s so iffy. And what if your preferences change? If you’re pale and get old, you’re probably going to experience the color fade. How will a tattooed liner look against that? |
| When it’s bad, it’s REALLY bad. Don’t. |
| As you age, it looks harsh. Imagine looking at a 92 year old with that—ugh. |
