Personal trainer in a chain gym?

Anonymous
Looking for a really good personal trainer, preferably in a chain/ big 24 hour type gym. Not in a Golds Gym though please.

Lifetime has good trainers but might be more expensive

Just curious, why not Golds?
I like the trainers at TFN in McLean but it is not a chain gym and the focus is fully on lifting.

They vary a lot. Check their bios. I had an incredible trainer who previously trained pro athletes but my friend’s 80 year old mother got someone who, without even taking a health history, immediately told her to get in the treadmill at 3.5 miles an hour. So be aware they vary from professional expert to dangerously ignorant.

This would be true in any chain gym. You can find some very good ones, but most don’t really know much. The conditions and pay are usually too bad to keep the good ones for very long.
