6th grade boy clothes

DS is starting 6th grade and needs new clothes. (We usually don’t do back to school shopping and just buy when outgrows)

He isn’t into sports so doesn’t wear jerseys etc.

What are easy and affordable brands? He wears athletic clothes and jeans/pants.

I get my son jeans and plain T’s from Gap. There is always a sale and their stuff holds up just fine. They also have pretty good athletic shorts.

I’ve been buying my son Amazon Essential active shorts for years. They are plain and he’s worn them in elementary in boys sizes and now as a teen in men’s sizes. They are plain and he pairs with a UA or Nike tee, that I also buy inexpensively on Amazon when I find them.

Athletic wear: Nike, Adidas, or Under Armour.

Under armour or Nike shorts or athletic pants
Gap for a pair of jeans and a pair of khaki pants in case we go to a restaurant or somewhere nice
Plain t shirts and collared shirts from the Gap - my son and his friends don’t like logos or icons or designs, just want plain white or blue or black
Athletic slides, adidas sneakers

I'm unsure why all in motion target home brand isn't in everyone's list lol I swear to god it's the best.

This for athletic shorts and t-shirts and hoodies. Pretty much all the MS boys wear this, even in winter.

Because the main stream name brands are cool. Target brand is not cool. When you’re a teen/tween cool matters.

My oldest is about to turn 14 and the younger one - who is going in to 6th grade really only wears his hand me downs. We shop primarily at target, walmart, old navy, and kohls when we shop. They really do not seem to care about brand names.

They do own various nike, adidas and under armor things - not totally sure where my husband bought it - but probably the above stores. They also get clothes as bday and hanukkah gifts from relatives. Their one older cousin in particularly likes to shop for my 3 kids - their parents (my kids' aunt / uncle) - basically just let her buy them clothes and that is the gift from them.

Please do not get these. At least get the old navy version. They're cheaper anyway.
