Catering suggestions for a party?

I am hosting a birthday party for my mom. There will be about 40 people. Need suggestions of good places to get food catered from. This is a dinner, and located in Chevy Chase.

Are you looking for a proper caterer, or restaurants? Also, what type of food? I’ll suggest Maggianos, but have a feeling it will get trashed on here.

Is this a formal sit-down dinner?
Or more of a casual event (cocktail tables, standing/walking around)?

No trashing from me. I’ve had Maggianno’s do catering. Everyone has enjoyed the food, and Maggianno’s makes the whole process easy.
