Hoover --Alg II

Do the kids who take Alg II in 8th grade at Hoover take it at Hoover or do they go to Churchill? We are coming from private.

I don't have specific knowledge of Hoover, but whether kids take Honors Algebra 2 at the middle school or at the high school depends primarily on how many students there are. <10 would take the bus to the high school for 1st period and then be bussed back to the middle school for 2nd period. More than 20 and they usually run the class at the middle school. The actual break point changes with staffing decisions. The Hoover math department staff page doesn't list anyone teaching Algebra 2, but they may not have broken that out. https://www2.montgomeryschoolsmd.org/schools/hooverms/departments2/math/
