Is there Honors Algebra 2 vs Algebra 2 for freshman?

| I just looked at my daughters schedule and it is listed as Algebra 2. Her other non elective classes have honors or AP. She has always received A's in her math classes, so I don't think they would not allow her to take an honors course. Not sure if I should call and say anything |

| You should request a change to Honors. Reach out to the guidance department. |

| What school? At Blair there is only Honors Alg 2. |

| Yes. Talk to your child. Maybe she requested Alg 2. If there’s a problem tell HER to talk to her counselor to have it changed. Land the helicopter. |

Are your kid's classmates from (Honors) Geometry in the same class?
Does your kid have Band or some specific elective that might cause a schedule conflict with Honors Algebra? Does the school have few or many Honors-class students? |
