Done with being a minivan driving mom

I am done with being a minivan driver and done driving a car that I am not excited about. Call it a midlife crisis, but at age 50 I would like to get a car I am excited about for the first time in my life. That said, I struggle with any extravagance. As I was looking at various options, the Mercedes E class wagon really appealed to me, and a used one seems very affordable. Question I have: how dicey is it to buy a used Mercedes?

I love my 2 seater Mercedes coupe. Only one kid left at home so it’s workable. 2004 with low miles and drives like a dream.
