Hi - we are moving with our toddler to the DuPont area this fall and looking at daycare options (she will be 18 mo then). Any experiences at Everbrook / Kids Corner / Bambini / Bright Horizons / Kiddie Academy or other options much appreciated! |
It’s Dupont. DuPont is a chemical company. |
NP. It should be Du Pont, so if contracted DuPont makes more sense than Dupont. Named after this guy: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Samuel_Francis_Du_Pont |
Have you tried the Edlavitch Jewish Center Preschool? I think they may have just opened an 18 month old class. |
School for Friends. |
Yup, they have 18 month classes for the “school year” starting this week and another one starting in January. It’s a great place and some of the age groups have room still. Not sure about the 18 month rooms. |
+1 School for Friends! We love it. |
Once she turns 2, check out Georgetown Montessori. Super close to Dupont and it’s a wonderful little school. |
Bambini is top-notch, and they reached out to current families letting us know they have immediate availability at several of their locations, which doesn't happen often. It's the time of the year when olden children graduate, so there's availability for younger ones as everyone moves classrooms. |
