Where to buy weights etc

DS has been asking for a set of adjustable dumbbells for an upcoming birthday gift. I don’t have a problem with this but I’d much prefer he buy from a store and preferably from a knowledgeable sales person. Any ideas?

Target has them. OP just ask him to show you a picture of what he's thinking, and you can get it on Amazon. This isn't one of those things that needs a lot of (or any, really) explaining.

I have purchased all of my workout equipment, including weights, at Dick's Sporting Goods.

Do your own research on the internet. Once you decide on the weights, order from Amazon or see if they have them at Dick's. I wouldn't rely on a Dick's salesperson.

I have the Bowflex adjustable dumbbells. They are rated highly. They are bulky but they've worked well for me and my family for about 3 years now. I bought them at Dick's.
