What are you yelling about if the Grill is still open? You linked an article that gives no indication that something is happening to the Arlington location.

You're a little behind the times, OP. Four Sisters in Mosaic closed months ago and it was because the quality declined. It was not nearly as good as it used to be. I think it was one of those restaurants that suffered from its own success. They would probably still be going strong if they had stayed in Eden Center, but their Mosaic location, right in the front away from all the other restaurants and shops, was not ideal, and as I said earlier, the food wasn't as good as it used to be.

Quality declined? Maybe the local population can't afford it anymore. Hopefully the income levels in Clarendon sustain the last one.

Clarendon isn’t the last restaurant. The one in Ashburn is always hopping at dinner time.

It was one of the first storefronts in Mosaic, long before the other restaurants.

It probably had more to do with the rent increases in Mosaic, plus so much competition. I also think it got confused with Sisters Thai.

The WaPo article references the rent increase.

Love 4 sisters in Clarendon. It's one of the 4 places we "supported" during covid.

I don't really know what you're talking about - the population in Mosaic District could easily afford it, but the location wasn't fantastic. And yes, the quality certainly declined post-pandemic. I wasn't surprised that it closed.

Yes, and in the worst location because you see it going in IF you went in through Gallows Rd and never again.

It had a great customer base pre-pandemic, but they clearly had staffing issues post. They also had a smaller menu, it was less beautiful (fewer flowers) and the quality of the food had declined alot. Would also guess that rent skyrocketed since they were there in the before days.

They were not the same after the move to Mosaic. DH and I used to go to the Eden Center location frequently, and were surprised at how much worse the food was after the move.

Obviously others disagreed since they were at Mosaic for 15 years.

Four Sisters was better at Eden Center. Falls Church is trying to make Eden Center like a Mosaic, the authentic quality of many restaurants there will change. Change is not always for the better.
