Selling car mistake

So I sold my 2012 Honda odyssey to a Honda dealership and forgot to factory reset! I just called and was told the car is sold but would have been reset to factory settings. Hopefully that’s true as my data is inside the navigation system. Anyway this is a psa to factory reset when selling a car.

We recently bought a used car and it was not wiped clean of data. The navigation had the previous owners home address stored and several other. I wouldn’t believe the dealer!

Me too. I just deleted the gps data myself. I couldn’t care less where the former owners have been!
