children of teachers

| Does anyone know if children of employed teachers attend that public school automatically even if the teacher does not reside in that boundary? |

| In MC, the children can attend the parents school and cluster. They don't have to if they live out of that boundary. |

The administrator (principal) has to approve it (which in most cases they probably do). The principal can veto this request. (I just had this conversation with a colleague who will be bringing her child to the school where we work (not the child's "home school") |

| Same with Fairfax County. We have a couple of students at my school who are children of teachers. |
