| Over my usual Sweetgreen and Seoul spice! |
| Teaism |
| New since when? |
| There’s a new chick-fil-a next to Cap One Arena |
| I love Teaism. |
Seriously though, a Chick-fil-A wrap or grilled chicken sandwich with a side salad or chicken soup is a great healthy meal. Fast, filling, reliably delicious. Nandos is pretty healthy if you don’t eat the skin and don’t get fries on the side. &pizza just started doing salads, but it’s limited locations and I can’t remember if the one near Gallery Place has salads. The Chinese restaurants will do chicken and steamed veggies with sauce on the side. Matchbox had the best black bean burger I’ve ever had in my life. Not sure if they still do. Little Beet is great, but if you put in your order online they WILL mess it up. |
| Another vote for Teaism, I love that place! |
| NP what do you recommend at Teaism? Seen it but never been |
| There is also that Bindaas place on 7th. |

I like most things at teaism. Their menu changes, but some of the standards are the bento boxes. My friends love those. I generally prefer hot dishes, but last time I got this amazing salad with beet hummus and quinoa and tea flavored nuts and dates. I like the hot noodle and Asian inspired large dishes in winter. And there's a tea based soup that is novel. Some summers they have a great green gazpacho, but I haven't seen it recently. If someone's sees it, please post. And less healthy, but a chai and a chocolate salty oat cookie is heaven. Also liked the Korean beef brisket and Asian slaw when I ate beef. Also in Chinatown, there's a Chaia vegetarian taco place. I've only been to the Georgetown location, but it was delicious. My favorite was a butternut squash taco. |

By FBI building is...Rice bar. Yummy. Not sure if it's too far of a walk.

They have great specials and bento boxes. I particularly like the tea smoked salmon, the glass noodles, and the cabbage pancake, and the cookies (warmed) are delicious. I’ve also enjoyed their “trash” plate with broccoli tots, cured salmon belly, and (I think) pickled collard greens. Everything that I’ve had has been very good, and everyone that I’ve taken there has enjoyed the food. |
| I love Poke Papa and Fruitive. Fruitive might be too far though. |

Chaia Tacos is delicious. Probably the best tacos I've ever had, and I'm not even vegetarian.
Pret has some tasty salads too. Although I haven't been in a while, so don't know exactly what they have on the menu. |
