I love the Purse Blog and there has been seemingly a resurgence of Coach the brand and with the younger crowd especially. I tend to look at the Bags In The Wild https://www.purseblog.com/bags-in-the-wild/ section too over there.
Coach was amazing leather quality decades ago. Do you think the quality will come back? |
I have a Coach bag. The leather quality isn't great. |
I have a *vintage* Coach bag and the leather/hardware etc are unbeatable.
I would never buy a Coach bag manufactured today. |
I saved my original Coach bags from 1992.
My DD24 has one now. I think the hobo bag is just too big so currently stashed and not used. |
I stumbled across a blogger the other day that thrifts and restores vintage Coach bags. They looked great and it made me want to go plunder through my closet and see what I can find. I’m afraid most went to Goodwill before our last move. |
It’s definitely back. Baghounds really like the Tabby and vintage bags are big too. |
I’ve looked at them, but not gone for it. The quality of the Coach bag I have from the 90s is amazing. These are just not. |
I got a new one for Christmas 2021. Not holding up well. |
+1. I loved their old, smooth leather. |
Just looked up the Tabby. I do like it, especially at that price point. |
For the price it's decent imo. |
Exactly this. The vintage Coach are wonderful. Plus, no visible logos. |
I remember my coach bag from the 1990s! The leather is definitely not like that anymore but I still find coach bags pretty good for the price and quality we get nowadays. Much less gaudy and overly trendy than similar prices competitors |
nO vISiBLe lOgOs!!!1 God you people are so tiresome. A vintage Coach bag is iconic, like a Birkin or Kelly. Everyone knows what it is, it’s not subtle, not any more than interlocked CCs. |
No. A vintage Coach is not "iconic, like a Birkin or Kelly." God you people are so tiresome. |
