I have a picky kid, so searches for "high protein snacks" somehow led me to the "viral" cottage cheese ice cream.
Anyone have tips? I read that once it's frozen solid it's hard to scoop, so the batch I just made in portioned out into single servings before freezing. Anything else I should know? It's not frozen yet, but in my taste test before freezing, it tastes like sweet yogurt! No weird cottage cheesiness. And I made sunbutter flavor, hoping to work with the saltiness from the cottage cheese instead of fighting it with too much extra sugar. |
