Newport Mill Middle

Has anyone had any experience with Newport Mill? My son was disappointed because he wanted to go to Sligo with his football teammates. At first I just thought the complaints were because he didn't get his way. However, after a few meetings we saw that some of his complaints were valid. He did not have a great experience last year. Things just seemed haphazard and there was never enough staff working especially in the science department. A number of the teachers have changed schools as well.

Anyone know what's going on?

What were the complaints? They seem to have had trouble staffing the science classes, but I haven’t noticed teachers changing schools other than one math teacher. We’ve had continuity with the elective teachers. I have found the teachers and counselors responsive if you email them directly.
