question about Aug

So June had been hottest month this year, but now July hottest globally..

Will Aug going to be same as July or hotter, cause you know, we are still in summer months? Traditionally, I always hear July is hottest month (over Aug) statistically. Might Aug really be hotter, for real?!!!?

In 2019, it was 100 degrees in October.

This summer in the DC area has actually been comparatively mild, but we are NOT out of the woods.

August feels worse psychologically just like February feels worse, because we’re tired of it.

On average, August in DC is slightly cooler than July. Average high of 88 in July, 86 in August. Overall average 79 vs 77.

The average hottest day of the year is July 21.

So it's certainly possible that August will be hotter, but it's unlikely.

July is always hotter or at least so says my bunion on my left foot.
