| Looking for used lax gear and field hockey sticks for my young girls (5 and 8) to get them interested in more physical activity in our backyard. They are not athletic so I don’t want to spend a lot of $. I know about play it again sports in MD but was hoping for something closer if anyone has suggestions. |

| This is the kind of thing I see all the time on several local neighborhood Facebook pages. Buy nothing, birtual yard sales, and basic community pages. There are also sport-specific but/sell/trade pages, but those usually involve shipping. |

| Definitely sign up for the neighborhood buy nothing group on Facebook as pp suggested. Someone in my neighborhood was just giving away a set of brand new kid golf clubs, so now my kids do golf. |
