| What happens if Biden is impeached??? |
|
Nothing. The Senate would never convict him. The House won't impeach him anyway.
|
Vice President Kamala Harris becomes President Kamala Harris. Life goes on. |
No...that's only if he's convicted, which he won't be. Do you not remember the two Trump impeachments? |
| This is all a show. The Republicans legitimately don't care about corruption of any kind. This is about a handful of Republicans getting retribution for Trump. It would force McCarthy to give significant floor/air time to something that will be a profound waste of time. They won't be able to make a real case, it'll all be based on innuendo, and the moderate House Republicans won't back it. In the meantime, we're racing toward 2024 with the House majority having nothing to show for their time in power. Nothing to benefit America, just one attempt at retribution after another. |
| Are there even enough republicans who will vote to impeach? |
| The Democrats will retake the house and Biden will win reelection. |
Who knows, but it would be awesome to put them on the spot so voters can see who they really are. I say go for it. |
Of course I know that. I'm just reminding you people that you may not get the result you want. You are not thinking it through. Kamala Harris doesn't have any impeachable violations so far, so she'd stay President. The GOPrs crying loudest for impeaching Joe Biden are the exact ones who asked Trump for pardons after 1-6-21. Hmmm. |
| There is literally nothing to impeach him for. |
|
| They technically don't need a full impeachment inquiry. They can just do what Nancy Pelosi did, with some partisan hearings behind closed doors, and then hand all the material over to Judiciary Committee for a quick impeachment vote. |
If Biden, after having lost re-election, commits a crime with two weeks left in his term, I'm sure this is exactly what will happen. |
Pelosi had full hearings for the first impeachment. The second impeachment had 538 witnesses present in the House and Senate. |
