My kid made Relay All Stars for the first time this year. MCSL posted preliminary seedlings but I don’t understand the teams marked with *. I thought it was just the wining team from each division’s A Relay Carnival. I don’t see any teams in the other section marked with an *

| Division H alternates sections each year. This year it looks like section 1 is A-G leaving one wildcard. The * is likely the wildcard spot. |
| Above poster is correct. Extra lane in relay session one this year so fastest relay that didn’t win their division gets seeded in. That is why you see most of those doors filled with higher division teams. |

It is also a little confusing because the seeding list can contain titles for the races that don't match the names sometimes used to talk about them (like "crescendo"). Check with the coaches to see which races and strokes your DC is swimming.
Also, the men's and women's 200 medley and the boys' and girls' 175 are seeded by season times, not by relay carnival performance. One of our 175s won our carnival but isn't fast enough to be seeded for All-Stars. |
Just to clarify, best time over the season in the division goes to All Stars. |
