I mostly take group fitness classes, but want to start using the elliptical and treadmill more. But, I am so unmotivated and get so bored! I need a deliciously binge-y show to exclusively watch when exercising to get me motivated. Any recommendations?
Thanks! |
I ripped through "60 Days In" during my last marathon training on the treadmill. People volunteer to go into jail for 60 days to see what it's like. It was good enough that I didn't have to pay super close attention the whole time, but still was engaged. |

I would need someone's body type closer to mine, for that kind of motivation. -NP |
I watch things that have a lot of action, not dialogue heavy. Things I’ve seen before so I don’t need tons of focus.
Marvel movies, some of the Star Wars spin offs |
Tour de France documentary on Netflix! I save it for workouts with a screen. Not a fan of cycling at all but I have the best workouts when I’m watching it! It’s SO good. I also loved Cheer but now I feel a little weird watching it knowing what some of the features athletes said/did. |
How long? 20 minute comedies usually hold my attention well. |

I like to do horror movies/shows. The tension keeps me invested and when they are running/scared then I go faster!
I find korean zombie shows are extra good because I have to read the subtitles and that distracts me even more. Alive and All of Us Are Dead were good. Squid Games, which everyone has seen. And recently I've been doing some Black Mirror. There is a show called From on Prime that got me through some race training. |
Rewatch something you love. I rewatched Friday Night Lights while I biked. |
