Booze-less Beverages

I keep seeing ads for non-alcoholic beverages and I’m curious. They are expensive, (to me), and I don’t know anything about them. Has anyone tried them? One brand that keeps popping up on my FB is called Moment.

I bought a couple to try recently - Ritual rum alternative and Lyre's gin alternative. I think they both are intended to be only used in a mixed drink. The rum alternative was disgusting - reminiscent of vanilla extract - and I dumped it down the sink. The gin alternative was really good when mixed with tonic and lime.

St. Agrestis Phony Negroni got good reviews online, and I may order it to try.

I’ve tried a number of them and they are meh in my opinion. Sometimes I will bring one to a party if everyone is drinking and I don’t want to just have water. But… I think some lemonade with sparkly water is much tastier and much cheaper.

I keep Tost non alcoholic rose on hand for nondrinking friends. Athletic Brewing beer is legit, too

Haven’t had Moment, but Recess is a similar concept and it’s good

I *love* the phony Negroni. It can be a bit syrupy so I top it with orange flavored seltzer. Really hits the spot and so far is the only non alcoholic cocktail I have liked

I've tried all 4-5 of the non-alcoholic red wines available at total wine and they were all disappointing. Basically grape juice, but more expensive.

I had better luck with some of the NA beers when I was pregnant. And some of the NA whites are supposed to be passable.
