Cost to join your swim team?

If you are in MCSL what is the cost to join your summer swim team at your pool? And does that include the end of year banquet? If not, what is the cost to attend your banquet and what does it entail (ie at your pool or in a rented out space)?

I think it’s about $250 per swimmer. The banquet is $15/adult (under 12 less). It’s casual food (pizza, Peruvian chicken, etc) at our pool

$250, includes a free t-shirt and ice cream at the banquet which is really just an award ceremony held in the clubhouse on a weekday evening.

$290 per swimmer. Banquet was $20.

Our is $135/year. The banquet is subsidized and was $25-35 kids/adults for an event at a hotel.
Sounds like a bargain!

$220/ swimmer.

banquet $20 to cover dinner and games at the pool

$150 per kid to join the team. Banquet was catered and on the tennis court. Swimmers were free but it was $20 per adult and $15 for non-team kid over five.

$165/swimmer and includes a T-shirt and does not include the banquet. Banquet is $25 for adults and $15 for children under 10, sit down in a banquet hall. The team does subsidize about $10 for adults and $8 for kids.

Does anyone know if swim teams ever kick in for pool expenses such as lifeguards or space rental?

And conversely, does any team get anything subsidized by pool dues (or does pool cover costs of anything)?

TIA.

This was us, too, almost exactly, except it was $30 for adults for the banquet!

That includes the various team-building events and the t-shirt and medal each kids get at the end.

Our pool is part of the HOA so all the costs are covered as part of the pool management contract. The swim team does not pay for anything extra. We also use the community clubhouse and do not pay extra.

I think we are $140 or $150 per child? But that is all in: T-shirt, all social events, banquet, everything. (Banquet is a potluck because that really is who we are as a team.) Families contribute in dozens of other ways, large and small. I can't imagine a more economical way to organize our summer. Sometimes there are 3, 4, or more practices and activities total in a given day connected with the team. It's why we don't need camp.

Maybe $125 for fist child and less for more kids. Free but they only have pizza and cake.

Very similar for us but it was 160 for registration.

Why would the swim team pay for this? The family has to be a member of the pool to be on the swim team (and pay dues). Pool dues pay for the life guards and space.

If anything our pool makes a killing off the swim team. We have many families who join only for the swim team and barely use the pool outside of team activities. It's like free money for the pool.
