| As MCSL All Star Relays is coming up, and swimmers on the original team are on vacation, how do you handle parents who are suggesting swimmer replacements and contacting the parent to ask about their availability and then telling the coach that the swimmer is available to swim in the relay? The coach and A Rep have gently told parents that the coach is in charge of the lineup. What’s the next step? How has your coach handled these situations? |

| Our team makes it clear that you will be contacted if needed to fill an alternate spot. The reps ask for availability from everyone for both divisional and all-star relays before divisional relays. That way they know who to contact and just go down the list based on times to confirm availability. |
