This is truly troubling. Students in Florida will be taught that slavery was beneficial to those who were enslaved. I hope that colleges are taking note of this, although it’s not a good thing to deny opportunities to students who achieve by parroting what they’ve been taught.

Wikipedia notes that DeSantis attended Yale, Harvard, and the Naval Justice School. I wonder if Yale can revoke his degree? I also really wonder what he learned about “justice” at Harvard Law School and at the Naval Justice School.

Grotesque. FL Dems need to tie these extreme measures to the entire FL GOP. They are getting a pass on DeSantis’s horrible laws. He would be no where without them.

I don’t get it. Is there something in the water in Florida? Is this some kind of mass psychosis? Next they will be teaching that the holocaust and the murder of millions of Jews somehow benefited them.

OP, your post should have had a different title, like: FL schools will now teach that Black people benefited from slavery. Not too many people are going to click on a post titled "DeSantis works really hard to keep fact from hindering opportunities for racism." This is such a shocking move on the part of the FL state board of education that just saying it in the simplest, most direct terms would be more than enough.

Batman Forever had a subplot in which the Riddler (Jim Carrey) had some sort of invention that would put thoughts inside people’s heads and some of the time I think that Fox has probably figured out how to do such a thing.

Then I remember advertising is already real and effective and many, many people are not only racist, but proud of it and they wonder why Black people can’t collectively get out of poverty. They want slavery back; they’re willing to stay stupid to make it happen.
