Teen Clothing Organization Ideas

Hello,
We live in a house with a very small footprint, and it is old with teeny tiny closets. We had a good wall to use in our bedroom to make a larger closet, but there is no such space in DD’s room and she has a lot of clothing, including lots of sportswear because she is into summer and winter sports (lots of puffy clothing).

At some point we bought her a loft bed so she could use the underneath for a desk and to store her binders and such. So underbed storage isn’t an option, and it’s not enough space anyway. We hung wall shelves where she has creatively put her shoes so it almost looks like an art installation. But the other shelves are for books, nicknacks and the like. I am wracking my brain for good, neat solutions.

Any ideas? I’d love photos or links to ideas or products if you have them. Thank you much!

OP again: we would really like to avoid paying monthly for a storage place, though we toyed with the idea.

Do you have a basement or attic for storage? We put off season clothing in bins in the attic or basement. You could add a wardrobe to her room. We use tall dressers in each room.

Vaccum seal the out-of-season clothing.

Vacuum sealing could help with puffy ski stuff but realistically, you can’t make space where there’s no space. You have to give up something somewhere else.
