So far, I’ve seen UVA and Richmond. Others? |
Seems more straightforward to check websites for the schools on your list. |
Which ones have updated their websites? I haven’t seen any yet. I’ve only started seeing emails this link. |
*link should read week |
Also it’s interesting to look at other schools’ because it gives one an idea of how schools may be recrafting their supplementals in response to the SCOTUS ruling. DeanJ touched on it in her latest. |
I think most don’t before 8/1. |
Most? It might be easier to google for a list of schools without supplemental essays. |
The UVA one is good. Is U of R a similar prompt? |
Richmond gives a similar option but you can choose: “One essay response is required. Choose from the following prompts: You have a platform to create change. What is an action or policy you might propose to address an issue of social injustice in your school or local community, or on a national or global scale? Tell us about a time you learned something unexpected. What did you learn, and what happened next? Richmond welcomes students from various backgrounds, perspectives, and lived experiences. What is at least one way you will contribute to our community that is not already mentioned in your application?” For those interested, here’s the UVA one: “What about your background, perspective, or experience will serve as a source of strength for you or those around you at UVA?” |
Huh? Easier for what? |
Where do you find a school’s supplemental essay prompts? |
where can you find this? |
Richmond emailed and DeanJ posted on her blog. As noted above, I haven’t seen any website updates. I’m hoping others have some to contribute? |
Just click your way thru them if you want to. I did some random and there are multiple for 23-24 already.
UChicago for example https://www.collegeessayadvisors.com/suppleme...-essay-prompt-guide/ |
Boston College
University of Georgia- you find that on their admissions blog |
