Why does shady stuff happen with parents on their deathbeds and inheritance between siblings?

| In our family's case, the sibling, also the Golden Child, always had a dark side that my parents refused to see. Over the years my brother and I, their friends, teachers, etc would try to help them see the behavior wasn't normal, but those same behaviors helped the sibling rise to the top over and over academically and professionally so that was all that mattered. She has an extreme sense of entitlement so in her mind she deserves everything and she schemed and destroyed her whole life without many consequences so it was natural. She is already squandering it all away. My brother and I are much better about saving and making wise financial choices. We are also smarter about our health. We new taking things to court would just bring out more nastiness so we distanced. |

| I posted already, but look at Donald Trump trying to screw a severely disabled nephew and the parents when it came to papa Trump's money. Some people are wired to be be horrible and no amount of money is enough. |
