Switching CPSE SEIT

Our son works with a SEIT through the school district. This summer he qualified for extended year services so she is also working with him at day camp. For seversal reasons I won’t get into, I no longer feel she’s the right fit for my son. Has anyone gone about switching seits? Do I call her agency, the school district? What is the protocol and what are my rights here?

Are you in NY? I haven't seen the term SEIT outside of NY (and rarely seen itinerant services in camps outside of NY). I would ask on a NY specific board, their special education is a whole other world.

Thanks! I am in NY. Unfortunately the local special needs Facebook group has non anonymous posts (guess the moderators got overwhelmed) and service providers can sometimes be in the groups for whatever reasons.
