I am trying hard to love it. Feel more grossed out by it. many of the male actors are dry and there is zero chemistry. Also is it only in New York where black culture comes “alive”? I’m going to finish this but so far - this is a struggle show. |
It gets better in the middle with the addition of Garcelle and the best friend dating side story, but it's pretty paint by numbers. She could have cut at least two of the "big girls deserve to feel beautiful" monologues. Point delivered! |
I really liked/enjoyed it! |
Ugh! She's an unfunny loudmouth. |
This is hard to watch - the funeral scene was hilarious. I’ll take more trans- women one liners but her interaction with the other characters leave it less to be desired. The men are horribly cast. The guy from Italy? What kind of accent was that? |
Only watched the first episode but so far I like it. |
I thought that scene was pretty gross and disrespectful. |
I liked it. Not everything is for everybody. |
Season 2 is out and it's so good! |
Too much verbal diarrhea from the main character. She is beautiful and the vibe could be fresh but she just rambles on like she’s recording a shitty podcast. |
I love this show! |
