We are new to APS for middle school & high school. Are kids expected to buy and supply a box of school supplies for these levels as they are for elementary and if so, where would I find the list of items to buy? TIA |
For high school, there was no box of school supplies. Each teacher usually would tell kids what they wanted them to have. We bought some notebooks and paper before the start of the school year. Everything else - we had so much left over from previous years barely used, we didn't need anything else. |
No. I’m sending my daughter on the first day of middle school with a spiral notebook, a folder and some pencils and pens. The teachers will tell them if they need anything special on the first day and then we will buy it.
I have a high schooler and at least one teacher usually requires a binder. Most have specific things but really only want the kids to have some sort of organized system. If it’s a high school math class, you will likely need a graphing calculator. Some schools have ones students can use, others want them to have their own, others rely on Desmos for lower level classes. |
There are lists posted for MS on the school website. They do sell the boxes but I believe the deadline is already passed. For high school, they find out on their first days when the teacher says over the syllabus with them. |
Thank you! I found it for MS. |
Did anyone see one for Gunston? |
