Ground rules for this forum?

Do you think we should try to set some basic ground rules for this forum so we don't get it completely deleted (as Jeff has hinted).

I guess don't be an a$$ to people? I hope the gang of adults who were finding their lives' satisfaction by attacking each others' 12 year old activities either gave up or aged out.

I'd say:
1) When we're talking about kids and youth sports, please refrain from insults and hyperbole.

2) Coaches are not public figures.

3) When you can't say anything that moves the discussion forward, don't say anything at all.

4) USA! USA! USA!

Any chance we can have smaller clubs not regularly put up a post about them vs another club that is just an excuse to keep attention on the club?

Hmm. Don’t totally feel #4. I’d substitute: If someone is being obnoxious on here, don’t respond to them. Instead, use the “report” button to let Jeff know.

Came on to also say this, let’s report when someone starts to get obnoxious or brings no value to the OP

Don’t talk about other people’s kids. In the past a-holes would provide identifying info about children that were lent their own—team/position, etc. These are kids.

Nothing that could be used to identify a kid, either directly or indirectly.
