| Dumb question this early maybe, but I feel like this summer is so short. Any idea when kids in elementary get their teachers? TYIA |

Our elementary school typically has open house the Thursday before school starts. The teacher assignments are sent out in an email at the beginning of that week, traditionally Monday evening. This year that would be around August 14.
I think this is standard for most elementary schools. |

| Everyone should just pray their kid has an actual teacher. Our school has 4 classroom teacher openings and school starts in 6 weeks. |

Questions like this are why summer seems so short to you, OP! YOU are the one making summer short!
Put school out of your mind until mid-August. You have another month to be in summer mode. Not short. |
