40 year old woman.
I’ve started a “Weight loss journey” so I’ve started weighing myself every morning. It’s been 3 weeks of eating better, and working out. I feel great! My weight, however, fluctuates 10 pounds! One day it finally registered a 5 pound weight loss and I was/am so exited. Two days later, I’m 10 POUNDS HEAVIER than that day? Scale? Me? Normal? |
Do you have access to another scale? Check that first before you accept the numbers. |
that's really weird, I'd confirm on another scale. Are you eating a lot of salt the day before? Are you overweight? |
My cycle day has a huge impact on my weight due to water retention. I gain 5 or so pounds between CD15-28.
Also the way you wrote your post makes me think you had an abnormally “light” day followed by a day a bit over your normal. My Fitbit does an average thing because day to day will fluctuate. |
2-4 Lb fluctuations are normal. 10 lbs seems excessive unless you are really large in which case I can see your body having larger water fluctuations.
Maybe try another scale. |
