Oh my goodness how scary! |
I really hope this story has a happy ending and we hear about it ASAP. |
Prayers that the ending is happy. Or at least is resolved sooner rather than later. The not-knowing is demoralizing |
This sounds like one of those cases where they need to check along the road for the car having left he road very carefully. |
Helicopter search turned up nothing but the immediate and extended family and friends have been doing just that. |
Oh I feel so bad for the dad/husband. The not knowing where they are must be so terrible. I hope they are found soon, maybe banged up from going off the road, but hopefully in okay condition. I hope they have access to water. |
We don’t know if the husband was involved in the disappearance. This whole story sounds a little too convenient, especially considering the mom is a hefty woman. I need more backstory. Hopefully this gets on Kendall Rae’s radar. She’s the best. |
This is scary. I hope they are ok. |
I agree about checking the road. It can be really easy for a car to go off road and remain hidden. I mean the recent story of the baby Harlow really shows that (husband left baby in car, came out to car missing, thought baby had been kidnapped but he didn't put the car in park and it rolled backwards and was covered by kudzu close to the house, took them 12 hours to find).
But also maybe the dad is abusive and they escaped. Hopefully they are found safe soon. |
They have another child too so I doubt they were running away as it seems unlikely a mom would only take one kid to escape.
|
The kudzu is making the search hard I’m sure. Family and friends and police all searching along the roadways but the forest is just so thick and the brush so dense in the VA/WVA forests that it must be making it difficult |
No mom is going to take 1 kid to escape abuse. |
Looking at the map, some not so great roads in that area where they last received a ping. A few years back, a woman and her son and nephew went missing in Loudoun County. Turned out she was driving on a country road late at night during a big storm and lost control of her vehicle, which ended up in a creek. Sadly, all died. Hope they are able to check carefully! |
I think they need more manpower and people along the roadways and nearby forests looking carefully. The husband is apparently asking friends and relatives to reach out to WVA Gov Justice and VA Gov Youngkin to allocate more funding to the search. Anyone that can advocate, please do! |
