Goodness! Brings back memories. A McD's where we used to live had a 'party room' (a corner of the restaurant with accordion doors) and my dc's cousin had his 6th birthday there. Had that cake!
The kids are 30 now and both the party room and the outside playplace are long gone...but the kids had so much fun there! |

A bunch of random stores keep these in the freezer for years, so that when a parent comes in for a party and makes the absurd request, the manager can say maybe say yes?
Had McDonald's even advertised to kids in the last 20 years? I got the impression they pretend kids don't eat their food. All their ads now are fancy dressed models pretending it's real food or a cocktail party |
