If your child has a weekly late morning therapy appointment, do you take them to daycare for the afternoon?

Our daycare doesn't have a rule about this, but afternoon is naptime and DD doesn't nap, so when she's had a morning appointment I've usually kept her home in the afternoon. But now that it is weekly, I don't know if this is sustainable.

Yes. They have quiet time for kids who don’t nap and we need to work.

Why not keep her at home until daycare is done with their nap time. Eat a lunch together, snack, play 1:1 (undivided attention) or whatever. Then drive over to daycare as their nap time is finishing.

I always did, yes. I also tried to get appointments that worked with his schedule - first of the day, or for you, maybe later in the day (3ish) would be good since your child doesn’t nap. But I had to get in a waiting list for that.

Yes. I still have things to do that are easier solo.
