Our daycare doesn't have a rule about this, but afternoon is naptime and DD doesn't nap, so when she's had a morning appointment I've usually kept her home in the afternoon. But now that it is weekly, I don't know if this is sustainable. |
Yes. They have quiet time for kids who don’t nap and we need to work. |
Why not keep her at home until daycare is done with their nap time. Eat a lunch together, snack, play 1:1 (undivided attention) or whatever. Then drive over to daycare as their nap time is finishing. |
I always did, yes. I also tried to get appointments that worked with his schedule - first of the day, or for you, maybe later in the day (3ish) would be good since your child doesn’t nap. But I had to get in a waiting list for that. |
Yes. I still have things to do that are easier solo. |
