I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a place selling live blue crabs. I think they usually go right from the boat to the steamer.

You could call Kool Ice in Cambridge MD. It’s obviously not close but if they don’t, no one does.

OP, have you checked with Fish Market folks? It's July so they should be getting crabs from the bay now.

Cameron's

"There has even been some debate as to whether or not restaurant owners should be forced to disclose the accurate origin of their crab. With that said, many restaurants—such as Cameron’s Seafood—really do sell native Maryland blue crabs."

We are in season, everyone should be selling MD crabs.

Drive a little further outside Bethesda, not as far as Cambridge, and there are plenty of places for live crabs — Bob Evans in Churchton, Mel’s in Huntingtown, etc.

I have done that once or twice. How much are they charging?

Why do you want to do them yourself. Have you don’t before, it is a little more involved than most people think.

Per their website, not all of their crabs are from Maryland

Steam for 25 minutes. Done. So simple. I cook mine with beer instead of water and omit the old bay.
