Hi All,
I am looking for a self-wash car wash in the Arlington area. The automatic car washes don't really do a good job, and I can't wash at home since I am in an apartment complex. I am looking for one of those places that you pull into a stall, feed it quarters, and walk around your car with the pressure nozzle spraying it. |
those are impossible to find around here. I like those myself, and I haven't been able to find one.
We wait until we go out of town to rural Va, and then wash our car. Seriously. Or just suck it up and use one of the drive through ones. |
It's not exactly what you are looking for, but there is a Mr. Wash on Glebe between 50 and Wilson. They have an automated car wash but people wipe down your car afterward and do windows, etc. |
There aren't any stall ones in Arlington. On Route 50 past 7 Corners, there's a gas station that has a stand-alone washing unit that takes coins--like the vacuum cleaner but it's a pressure nozzle spray thing. That's the closest thing I've found near Arlington. |
Agree. They don't exist around here. You have to go further out - I know there is one in Shepherdstown, WV! ![]() |
I think there is one on 123 in Vienna on the Oakton side. Not that close to Arlington though. |
Maybe you're talking about the Mr. Wash next to McD's? That's not what the OP is describing. |
I go to one next to the Target in Rockville. That is the only one I know of around here. |
I was just going to mention this one - I think it's at the intersection of Annandale Rd? This was a big complaint of mine when I first moved down here...now just settle for Mr. Wash on Glebe. |
