Longest pool wait list you’re still on?

We moved to an area a decade ago with very few pools. I’m curious how our situation compares to VA/MD pool waitlists. We’ve been on a waitlist for a pool since 2012. With luck we expect to be off of it by summer 2024 or 2025.

| We got off the waitlist for Palisades 2 years ago after getting on in 2012. |

I wonder the same thing. We are in FFX Co and joined a pool within earshot of another that had (has) a waitlist. |

| We have a decade left it looks like. I’m tempted to joint the waiting list in all of the neighborhoods I think we might want to move to in a decade lol. |

| Cardinal Hill Vienna. Got an email offering us a membership five years after we moved away! LOL. Thought we might offer it to the people renting our house but by this point we had sold the house! |

People near us do that for their kids! I see middle school kids I know on our wait list. Ours has geographic boundaries, so the parents are betting that the wait list will last long enough for their kids to finish school, get a job, and make enough money to move back to the neighborhood. |
