Wagons - Veer vs Bob vs Joey

Does anyone have experience with these wagons? Looking for one to replace a stroller for walking around town, farmer's market, etc. Want one I can use at the beach and sports tournaments with my older kids, too. Before Buy Buy Baby closed, I tried the Veer and found it awkward to maneuver. The salesperson said people always think that at first and then love it. The wonderfolds were very easy to push but just too huge for my needs. Online the Bob Renegade and Joey look sleeker but I have yet to see them in person and can't find them locally. Any experience? TIA

I don’t have experience but I’ve looked at all of these and decided against. I have a double Thule that I *love* besides the fact that it’s too big to reasonably travel with. I have stuck it in the car a handful of times but it’s generally for walking/running - garage and back. The reason that’s relevant is because all of these strollers are even bigger while folded. You’d for sure need a full size SUV with third row folded.

I got a veer wagon when my second was born (and older son was 2). Got rid of it when younger kid was 2. For the life of me, I don't understand why the veer is so popular. It is SO expensive, doesn't come with any useful accessories, and is a pain to maneuver. I didn't like pulling it and pushing was a pain to maneuver. My husband, who is much stronger, enjoyed pulling it so maybe if you are very strong you won't find this to be an issue. However, my biggest grip with the veer and why I sold it was that I found the wheels to be a danger for kids. The larger wheel had a cover over it but the smaller wheel does not. I once saw an amazon review where someone said their kid stuck their fingers in the small wheel and did massive damage. After that I couldn't get that thought out of my head and I noticed that my kids would try to touch those wheels all the time. When we took the wagon out, someone had to be behind the wagon and constantly monitoring to make sure they didn't hurt their hands. I don't understand why Veer doesn't put a cover on the smaller wheel. It seems so blatantly dangerous. But I can't find anyone else having this issue anymore on the internet so maybe it is just me and my wild kids. Even so, if you get one, I would monitor the hands. For me, it wasn't worth the anxiety.

I have a Mac sport wagon. To me, it is only marginally harder to pull this much cheaper wagon when both kids are inside and much easier to pull when it's empty. This is what I take to farms, etc.

I also have a bob double stroller. Got it after I sold the veer and this thing is amazing. I definitely wish I had gotten this right off the bat instead of the veer. It is SO EASY to push, effortless, either with 2 kids (80 pounds) or one kid (lopsided). In fact, i take this stroller out even when there is just one kid because it feels better to push this double stroller than my single stroller. I don't have any experience with Bob renegade but I would recommend you reconsider the wagon option. I think it's a fad. The kids are much more comfortable and better behaved on a side by side double stroller than on the wagon, where they are staring at each other and picking fights with each other (or throwing food at each other). Again, maybe just my kids, but something to consider.

Wonderfold is the best but may struggle on beach. Get the higher end one for bigger wheels. Best purchase I’ve ever made.

We have a veer and we love it.

Loved my Veer but the girl’s outgrew it, now have a Keenz, and it’s heavy to push but a nice ride for the kids.
