| We're looking for ideas for somewhere to add with a trip to see family in Naples over spring break. Ideally within a couple-ish hours of Ft. Myers airport. We have 1st-2nd grade kids, enjoy a lovely hotel or resort with a great pool, like good restaurants/food, a cool town and/or cultural scene, beach is nice but not a must, just someplace interesting and memorable to do on our own before we join up with the extended family for the rest of the trip. Flexible on budget. Would love suggestions! |
| We went to the JW Marriott in Marco Island for a wedding last fall (post Hurricane Ian). Kids would love 10K Alley (their version of Dave & Busters). They also have a kid's club from 10-3 daily if you want to golf, hit the spa, etc. |
| Aren't you talking about SW Florida, not SE? |
The Naples zoo was fun and you could also do an airboat ride through the Everglades. We did sanibel a few years ago but not sure that’s up and ready from hurricane. We stayed at a Hyatt Bonita springs or something that had lovely pools. |
