Which room do you always migrate to when you have down time?

I feel like I live out of my bedroom - if only I had a kitchen in my bedroom I would never leave it. I love my bed and my TV, and the computer, phone, bathroom. It is my comfort zone.
What about you and why do you love that room too? Does the rest of the family migrate there too?

The laundry room. Sigh. I am never caught up so when I have a minute that's where I go. And, no one ends up there with me voluntarily. Everyone else seems to congregate together in front of the living room TV.

This is exactly why I don't have a TV in my bedroom - I would never leave!

When I truly have down time -- feel sufficiently caught-up that I can take a break -- I crave reading and will usually go either to our bedroom or a sunny spot in the living room. Both spots have nice views and are out of the action, which is usually going on in the kitchen or family room. Yesterday, DD and I sat there together and read for a while -- a brief, but lovely interlude. I'm also an early riser, so when it's pleasant and not too hot outside, (remember that feeling? I think it was sometime back in the late 20th Century), I'll have coffee and read the newspaper on our screened porch. Heavenly.
