Boss has sort of taken over my project?

I received a lot of kudos working on this project last year. This year I notice my boss has taken over. She gives project updates and keeps me out of meetings even though it is technically “my project”. I am feeling a like this is a power grab? Is this normal?

IT's not a power grab, she literally has the power as your boss.

IMO sign of a bad boss. She feels threatened by the attention you got and took over.

Yes somewhat normal because bad bosses are common.

Great! Have her continue to provide updates, thank her and give her suggestions and next steps, start getting updates from her other reports and bam you are the boss.
